ABOUT ME
Hi, My name is Brooke! Here is a little bit about me.
Since I was young I’ve loved animals — both learning about and taking care of them. Animal rescue has always been a huge passion of mine. I volunteered for rescue groups for many years before moving to Cairns in 2019 and personally rescuing a kelpie (see Pumba's Story section).
Once in Cairns I did a veterinary internship before finding my true passion for dog training and behaviour. After my journey in Cairns I moved back to the Sunshine Coast and started Pawsitive Dogs in January 2020, to provide a safe space for ALL dogs to learn, grow and heal.
I am qualified through National Dog Training Federation, certificate III in dog training and behaviour. I have many other dog related qualifications, including a pet first aid certificate. I also have experience working in pet hotels and working with assistance dogs.
I am fully insured and police checked. I pride myself on the high standard of care and services that I offer. I have a number of clients who have become more like family, and I love each and every one of my clients. I hope I get the chance to meet your fur babies soon.
